House Roofing

Putting a roof on a chicken coop is not much different than that of a shed or house. The good news is that if you are going to have drafts or seams, having them at the top is much better than having them at the bottom. The bad news is that planning the roof requires some time with triangles, and putting on the roof will require ladder work, and goes better with at least two people.

Sure, roofs tend to be designed more for function than form, but you’d be surprised at what some architects have managed to come up with. The Leaf Roof – Rio de Janeiro
This unique roof is actually located just outside of Rio de Janeiro, on a beautiful beach house overlooking the bright blue water. Builders Mareines & Patalano based the design on the shape of the tropical banana leaves native to Brazil. The layout of the roof takes advantage of the winds, providing natural ventilation.
